Study Rooms

Study rooms are available on a first come, first served basis. There are three study rooms available on first floor, five study rooms available on second floor, and three group study spaces available on the second floor.

Classrooms

There are two multi-media classrooms in the E. Y. Berry Library-Learning Center. To schedule a classroom, visit: https://www.bhsu.edu/iits/services/Multimedia-Classrooms

Computers & Printing

Desktop computers are available for use by BHSU students, staff, or faculty on the first floor of the library. There are also laptops available for check-out to students which can only be used in the library.

One desktop computer is available for use by patrons not affiliated with BHSU. Stop by the Library Information Desk for access to this computer and information on printing from this computer.

There are two Campus Printers in the library: one on first floor across from the IT Help Desk and one on the second floor on the west side of the building. Every desktop computer in the Library is networked to the Campus Printers for black-and-white and color printing.

You need to have money on your Buzz Card in order to print.

Scanning & Photocopying

Scanning can be done from any Campus Printer, either page-by-page or via the document feeder. There are two Campus Printers in the library: one on first floor across from the IT Help Desk and one on the second floor on the west side of the building.

Scans can be done at no charge. Photocopies (printing those scans) are charged at regular printing rates. You need to have money on your Buzz Card to print.

Patrons not affiliated with BHSU should ask about scanning and photocopying at the Library Information Desk.

Swivls

Swivl Robots (aka Swivls) are available for check out at the Library Information Desk. They can be checked out for 3 weeks.

Swivl Robots are devices that are used to capture video using your phone or tablet. The speaker wears a "marker" which allows the robot to rotate in order to keep the speaker on camera.

Ellison Machine

The Ellison machine is a die-cutting machine. It is located on the first floor of the library near the Library Information Desk. For assistance, please ask at the Library Information Desk.

Microfilm & Microfiche Reader

Individuals wishing to view microfilm or microfiche should ask at the Library Information Desk. Our microfilm reader has capabilities for saving images.
