My, how time gets away from us. And by us, I mean--well, me. As many of you have heard, the beginning move-in date for the renovated building has been pushed back to early September. My best guess for a realistic "operational" timeframe for the Innovation Lab now rests at some murky, ambiguous time in November. That said, the Lab will be entirely open for folks to come mill about as soon as the building is open to the public. I encourage everyone to come visit the space and with me while I set up all the new equipment.
Even without access to the physical space, however, the technology of the Innovation Lab has not been idle! Allen Morris--Assistant Professor of Photography--recently took our Artec Leo out for it's first "field" project. (Pun fully intended.) I'll try to get some scans and images from him to showcase in the next post!
